WCTI ZERO-LIQUID-DISCHARGE
Zero-Liquid-Discharge (ZLD) Technology is capable of removing hardness to less than 0.5 ppm and provides corrosion protection at high TDS (10,000 – 150,00 ppm TDS). A high TDS prohibits growth of pathogens and biological agents. These benefits help protect cooling towers and piping from scale deposits and corrosion. Chemical usage is also reduced, resulting in significant cost savings when compared to older, traditional competing technologies.

SunPower Philippines Mfg. Ltd., one of the major solar chip manufacturers worldwide located in Laguna, just signed a new deal with H2O Surplus Limited using our ZLD Water Conservation Program for one of their cooling tower operation.
Another major multi national company Optodev-Essilor Inc., just signed a new deal on August 2010 using the ZLD Technology.

OPTODEV Inc., an Essilor Manufacturing Plant, is the world’s #1 producer of ophthalmic lenses. Located at Laguna International Industrial Park (LIIP) Binan Laguna, it produces the latest high index lenses and is continuing to expand its production worldwide. In compliance with their targeted Water Conservation Program using recycled water, the company recently signed an agreement with H2O Surplus Ltd Phils Inc. using our multi-award winning ZLD Technology.

STMicroelectronics-Calamba, a packaging & test manufacturing facility located in Laguna, just signed a new deal using recycled water (RO Reject Water) as make-up feed to their present cooling tower operation. This proven Zero Liquid Discharge technology will bring the company into a "Green Innovation Facilities" using Natural Green Chemistry process and reduce the environmental impacts and optimize facilities operations.
